The Office of Scientific and Technological Industry of National Defence in Shandong Province is responsible for the implementation of state guidelines, polices, and laws and regulations pertaining to scientific and technological industry of national defence. Its main works are as follows: military, civil explosive, marine and nuclear emergency management in Shandong province; formulation and implementation of civil-military integration development planning, polices, and laws and regulations in Shandong province; management of retired cadres of the Ministry departments and its directly affiliated institutions; supervision and coordination on retired cadres of the central military industry group Shandong office; Party building of the central military industry group Shandong office; cooperation on cadre administration and personnel affairs; guidance and management of directly affiliated institutions reform, development, and stability; and undertaking of other works assigned by Shandong Economic and Information Technology Committee.
