Exhibition Profile:

Coverings is an American well-known tile&stone show worldwide, also the largest tile and stone show in North America. It has been successfully held for several times with a radiation effect on the whole America market. It plays an inportant role in tile&stone field. In 2015, Coverings were held in Orlando, lasted four days from Apr. 14 to Apr. 17. More than 900 exhibitors from over 50 countries attend the show, including American delegation (104 enterprises) with total exhibit space of 4772 square meters, which increases 8% than last year. There’re total 263 Chinese exhibitors in the show, with large proportion of Guangdong exhibitors, including over 80 exhibitors from Foshan. Coverings 2016 will return to Chicago, it will surely be the most important trade show in tile, stone material, flooring material field, also an important opportunity to seek for cooperative partners of USA and expand marketing.

Coverings attract over 1000 producers and trade companies of ceramics and stone material field from 30 countries worldwide. There’re more than 300 Chinese attendees. USA, Spain, Italy, Brazil and China consist of five parts of the show. More than 22 thousand professionals from Italy, Germany, Brazil, Argentina and China visited the show. The number rises 23% every year, including 44% distributors, 13% retailers, 12% producers and 11% contractors, others from decoration, design and specialists; 67% professionals from companies with USD 1 million annual turnover, includes 22% professionals from companies with USD 10 million annual turnover.

As the explosive surge in American construction industry, its demand for imported construction material, such as wall tiles, floor tiles and stone materials is big. America is important export

destination for China stone materials and construction ceramics, but China’s export volume to America remains far behind Italy and Spain. China’s import volume to related products ranks the eighth just behind America in stone material, wall tile and floor tile field. In future, China products of stone materials and construction ceramics will have a great potential surge in  American market for China’s role as the second trade partners of America.
