Situations of the Development of China’s Service Out-sourcing Industry in Januar

The amount of China’s service out-sourcing contracts hit 60.5 billion Yuan (equivalent to 9.23 billion Dollars) in January 2016, dropping by 0.33% year-on-year; thereinto the amount of offshore service out-sourcing contracts reached 43.6 billion Yuan, with a year-on-year growth of 37.5%. The following major features can be seen from China’s service out-sourcing industry in January, said by the person in charge of the Department of Trade in Services and Commercial Services:
First, China’s has seen a substantial growth in terms of its contract-awarding contracts from the EU, Hong Kong and Singapore. The respective amount of offshore service out-sourcing contracts China has undertaken from the EU, Hong Kong and Singapore is 9.9 billion Yuan, 6.63 billion Yuan and 3.5 billion Yuan, with a year-on-year growth of 91.2%, 61.7% and 73.3% respectively. China undertook a offshore out-sourcing contract amount of 5.66 billion Yuan and 1.37 billion Yuan respectively from Ireland and Germany in January, with a respective year-on-year growth of 1,390% and 55.4%, pushing the EU to become China’s biggest contract-awarding market.
Second, significant changes have taken place in the structure of the service out-sourcing business. The amount of contracts that Chinese enterprises have undertaken in terms of the offshore information technology out-sourcing, business procedures out-sourcing and knowledge procedures out-sourcing hits 17.51 billion Yuan, 12.91 billion Yuan and 13.18 billion Yuan respectively, with a respective year-on-year growth of -0.3%, 146% and 47.8% as well as a respective proportion of 40.2%, 29.6% and 30.2%. In the Internet economy era, we have seen a progressive demand for professional data treatment. The amount of offshore data treatment that Chinese enterprises have undertaken reached 5.83 billion Yuan, promoting proportion of the business procedures out-sourcing to a new high.
Third, we have witnessed sustainable and rapid growth of state markets related to “One Belt and One Road”. The amount of service out-sourcing contracts that Chinese enterprises have undertaken from countries related to “One Belt and One Road” reached 7.74 billion Yuan, with a year-on-year growth of 31.6%. Thereinto the amount of service out-sourcing contracts that our country has undertaken from the Southeast Asian countries hit 4.45 billion Yuan and the actual amount reached 2.67 billion Yuan, with a respective year-on-year growth of 29.5% and 6.4%; the amount of contracts undertaken from the West Asian countries reached 1.56 billion Yuan while the actual amount hit 0.65 billion Yuan, with a respective year-on-year growth of 132.5% and 9.8%.
