Suriname has rich gold mine resource, and many companies from Shandong province has explored that resources there. It has very good prospect.    

2.Bauxite Mine Exploration

Suriname has rich bauxite mine resource, large bauxite refinery and mineral processing plant have been built there. Being controlled by USA before, Suriname government is seeking for cooperation with China companies instead of USA. Suriname central bank governor talked with cooperation on bauxite mine exploration in Beijing.

3.Titanium Mine Exploration

Based on the introduction of local Chinese, Suriname has rich titanium mine resource, but mineral exploration hasn’t been done. Suriname companies have strong cooperative intention with Shandong companies.

4.Traffic sign

Traffic sign of Suriname made of wood is unclear, or made of iron is rusty. Both Chinese investor and real estate developer of Suriname have interest in cooperative production and installation of traffic sign.  

5.Construction Material Project

Suriname government promises to build 18 thousand economically affordable housing for local people, but only less than 1 thousand have been completed. The demand of Suriname market is enormous, local developer usually uses three structures(1.Foam sandwich panel wall 2. Galvanized steel C steel keel wall 3. Brick wall) to build houses. There’re many cooperative methods with developers. Combined with Shandong advantage in rich kinds of construction materials and advanced technology, there’re strong cooperative potential and good earnings prospects in construction materials.

6.Forest Development Timber Project

95% land of Suriname is covered by forest, and large quantity of timbers is provided. Wood quality with delicate texture and full luster can be equal to Asian mahogany. Suriname has many forest suitable for development, some of them owned by Suriname Trade and Industry Association, a partner of ours. Suriname Trade and Industry Association can log directly, which will guarantee the supply and quality of our wood, also save our cost. Investors are needed in logging equipment, human resources and other related expenses at first. Great advantage of direct investment will emerge in the long run. Being negotiated with local wood exporters, 200-500m3 timber will be imported into Shandong province every month so far.      

7.Furniture

Suriname has rich wood materials, but lack of furniture manufacturer. If processing plants can be set up in Suriname, products will enjoy good sales in the entire Caribbean region by the preference policies of duty free.

8.Auto Parts

In Suriname, second hand vehicle accounts for 90%. Besides, the hot weather is another reason for vehicle broken. The main repair method is accessories change, and regular maintenance, repair and tyre change. Auto accessories and tyre industry will have a good outlook in Suriname.

9.Hardware Electronics

Large demand products: LED light, door and window made in aluminum alloy, wall paper; medium density board, rain-proof clothing, galvanized tube, square tube, pressure plate, iron mesh, artificial marble and so on. Suriname Trade and Industry Association, Suriname power company will have a meeting with us. LED light sample of 20 container will be delivered to Suriname. As soon as make sure that quality is guaranteed, they intend to invest in company of Shandong province.    

10.Electric Auto Project

There is no electric auto in Suriname, so a large potential market exists there. However, price, configuration, product promotion have direct influence on project feasibility.

11.Shandong Industrial Park Project

Suriname Trade and Industry Association hope to cooperate with us on industrial park construction in Shandong province.

12.Paper-making Project

Export price of Shandong made paper is similar to Gold Hongye Paper Group product in south part of China.  

13.Monitoring System Project

There is a big price advantage in Suriname, the detail cooperation model is discussing.(propose to cooperate with local security company)

14.Large Laboratory Project

There isn’t laboratory used for comprehensive test of mineral and wood. We are talking with Suriname side about further cooperation.
