Zimbabwe

The Republic of Zimbabwe, a landlocked country in southern Africa, established itself on April 18, 1980. Zimbabwe was originally known as Rhodesia before 1980, and this name originated from Cecil Lodz who established colonies in the region for UK.

Zimbabwe had experienced severe hyperinflation, but inflation began to stabilize after replacing its currency with US dollars and South African Rand in 2009.

Zimbabwe is a relatively developed industrial country in Africa, with manufacturing, agriculture and mining being three pillars of its economy. Zimbabwe is renowned for production of high-quality crocodile skin and has won itself the reputation of "Howntown  of Crocodile". The country is rich in natural resources and has relatively better-off industrial and agricultural base.
