Vanuatu

The Republic of Vanuatu, located in the western part of South Pacific, belongs to the Melanesian Islands and is composed of 83 islands (of which 68 islands are inhabited). The largest island is Santo Island (with a total area of 3,974 square kilometers) has a tropical maritime climate, and the average annual rainfall totals 1,600 mm. It has a tropical maritime climate, and the average temperature of the capital city of Vila is 25.3 ℃. In addition, fisheries and animal husbandry are also main economic activities of Vanuatu. The tourism industry is also important in Vanuatu and is one of the government's basic sources of income.
