Armenia

Republic of Armenia, referred to as Armenia in short, is a country in the Caucasus region at the Eurasian border and one of the many republics became independent after disintegration of the Soviet Union, the capital of which is Yerevan. Armenians account for 93.3%, with the other being Russians, Ukrainians, Kurds, Assyrians, Greeks and so on.

Armenia was blocked by Azerbaijan and Turkey in the aftermath of the Nacional conflict, and then began to pick up. However, the country's economy was still weak due to barren resources and shortage of funds.

In 1992, the Republic of Armenia established ambassadorial diplomatic relations with China. In December 2002 this country joined the World Trade Organization. Armenia's main source of income is agriculture and animal husbandry, where agricultural production can only be seen in the lowlands near the capital.

Armenia is a landlocked country with most of the nationals being Orthodox Christians, However, it became the the gunpowder zone with turmoil in the Caucasus region due to the facts that it was surrounded by Islamic countries with many border disputes with neighboring countries.
