Venezuela

Venezuela Bolivarian Republic is a country located in the northern part of South America and is a member of the Association of South American Nations, and its capital is Caracas. It neighbors Caribbean in the north and Colombia in the west, adjacent to the Brazil in the south and borders Guyana in the east. It is called "Town of Waterfalls", and covers an area of 912,050 square kilometers. The coastline is 2,813 kilometers long. It is originally the Indian residence. 1498 Columbus sailed here on his way to America. In 1523 the Spaniards established the first colony. In 1567 it became a Spanish colony. It declared its independence on July 5, 1811. In 1830 the Republic was established. On June 28, 1974 it established diplomatic relation with China.

Venezuela's name "Venezuela" actually derives from the Italian "Little Venice", and its allusions come from the Italian explorer Amerigo Vespucci who saw the high-footed village in the water of the Lake Malacca where Indians reside and therefore thought of the European water city of Venice. As for Venezuela's official name, "Bolivar" was joined by Venezuela in 1999 when Venezuela modified the constitution in memory of Simon Bolivar, who was regarded as a hero in founding the country.

Venezuela is a member of the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries and is an important oil producer and exporter in the world. It is one of the world's major oil producers. The oil industry is the economic lifeline, which accounts for about 80% of Venezuela's export earnings.
