Grenada is located at the southernmost tip of the east Caribbean windward archipelago, about 160 kilometers south of the Venezuelan coast. It has a tropical oceanic climate with an annual average temperature of 26 ℃.

Agriculture and tourism are the basis of its economy, the main agricultural product of nutmeg’s production accounts for about one-third of the world's total output, second only to Indonesia in the world. It is now a member of the Commonwealth.

Grenada is a member of many international organizations, but Grenada is mainly involved in meetings and events of the United Nations, Organizations of American States, the Caribbean Community and the Common Market as well as the Organization of Eastern Caribbean States due to staff and funding constraints. Grenada supports the charter, constitution and purpose of the above-mentioned international, regional and subregional organizations, and Grenada generally supports the above-mentioned international, regional and subregional organization's coherent position on major international issues.
