Rwanda

Rwanda is a country in central and eastern Africa and is known as the Republic of Rwanda in full. It is a landlocked country located in the south side of the equatorial in the middle east of Africa. It neighbors Tanzania in the east, adjacent to Burundi in the south, borders Congo (Kinshasa) in the west and northwest, and borders Uganda in the north. It has a totaql land area of 26,338 square kilometers. There are many mountains in this country, therefore it is called the "Country of Thousands of Hills".

The main ethnic groups include Hutu, Tutsi and Teva. Rwanda, English and French are the official languages.

Rwanda is a backward country engaged in agriculture and animal husbandry, and is identified by the United Nations as one of the world's least developed countries. People engaged in agriculture and animal husbandry account for 92% of the country's population. Due to the rapid population growth and the impact of war, its food cannot be self-sufficient, and the annual food shortage is about 30%. The 1994 civil war and massacre led to the collapse of the economy and the financial depletion. After the establishment of the new government, new currencies were issued, and Lulang depreciated by 70%, and a series of measures with the aim of economic recovery were adopted, such as free float of the exchange rate, reform of the tax system and privatization etc, the economy grows year by year, the national reconstruction has achieved initial success and its economy surpassed pre-war (1990) levels.
