Comoros

Comoros is called “Country on the Moon” and “Country of Spice”, is an island country in the Indian Ocean. It is located at the entrance to the Channel of Mozambique in the east part of Africa, and is about 300 kilometers away from Madagascar and Mozambique respectively in the east and the west. The Grand Comoros, Anjouan Island, Moeri Island and Mayotte Island are known as the four pearls in the West Indian Ocean.

The main territory of the Comoros includes three volcanic islands: the Greater Comoros, Mohéli and Anjouan.

Comoros is one of the poorest countries in the world, with agriculture being the country's economic pillar. Its transportation system is also very backward, the population is aging and growing rapidly, and it is lacking in natural resources.
