Belarus

Belarus, known as the Republic of Belarus in full, is a landlocked country located in the Eastern European Plain. It borders with the Russian Federation in the northeast, neighbors with Ukraine in the south, connected to Poland in the west, and is adjacent to Lithuania and Latvia in the northwest. Its capital is Minsk.

Belarus is a former Soviet republic, declared its independence on August 25, 1991, and on December 19, 1991 changed its name into "Republic of Belarus", referred to as "Belarus" for short. Its name is translated as "Belo Lucia" in the old days, claiming to be "Belarus" .

The industrial base of Belarus is relatively good, and its machinery manufacturing industry, metallurgical processing industry, machine tools and laser technology are more developed and advanced; IT industry is relatively developed; and agriculture and animal husbandry are also fairly developed. Belarus, together with Russia and Kazakhstan, jointly established a customs union, and Russia and gradually strengthened its economic and military integrations with Russia and Kazakhstan.

After 1995, Belarusian and Russian were set as national languages, the Constitution of Belarus did not explicitly state religion, while most people believed in the Russian Orthodox Church, followed by the Roman Catholic Church. Many Christian festivals such as Easter are set as national holidays, and its National Day is on July 3, 1944.
