Togo

The Republic of Togo is one of the West African countries, it neighbors Benin in the east, Burkina Faso in the north and Ghana in the west, and a small section of coastline in the south faces the Gulf of Guinea.

Togo’s capital and the largest city is Lome. The country is divided into five economic zones including the coastal area, plateau area, central area, karaoke area and grassland area. Lome is located about 6 ゜ northern latitude, 1 ゜ 02 ' eastern latitude, is located in the southwest part of Togo, is adjacent to the Atlantic and Gulf of Guinea in the south, and the southern end of the city is surrounded by more than ten kilometers of flat sand. The total area is 333 square kilometers, of which 30 square kilometers is the lagoon area, the urban area totals 120 square kilometers, and its population amounts to 800,000. It has a tropical rain forest climate, the annual temperature averages 27 ℃, it feels cool in July and August, and the average annual rainfall is 764mm.

On October 28, 2015, the 70th session of the United Nations General Assembly elected members of the United Nations Human Rights Council, and Togo was successfully elected with a term from 2016 to 2018.
