Vanuatu

The Republic of Vanuatu, located in the western part of South Pacific, belongs to the Melanesian Islands and is composed of 83 islands (of which 68 islands are inhabited). The largest island is Santo Island (with a total area of 3,974 square kilometers) has a tropical maritime climate, and the average annual rainfall totals 1,600 mm. It has a tropical maritime climate, and the average temperature of the capital city of Vila is 25.3 ℃. The land area is 11.29 million square kilometers with a water area of 848,000 square kilometers, of which 98% is the Vanuatu people, belonging to the Melanesian race, the official languages are English, French and Bislama, Bislama is commonly used here, and 84 % of its total population believe in Catholicism. In addition, fisheries and animal husbandry are also main economic activities of Vanuatu. The tourism industry is also important in Vanuatu and is one of the government's basic sources of income.
