Chad

Chad, known as the Republic of Chad in full, is a landlocked country in central Africa. It borders Libya in the north and Sudan in the east and the Central African Republic in the south, neighbors Cameroon and Nigeria in the southwest, and adjacent to Niger in the west.

Chad is divided into three main geographical areas: the northern desert area which has a tropical desert climate; the central arid Sahel area which has a tropical grassland climate; and southern fertile savannah area which has a tropical rain forest climate.

The country is named after the Lake Chad, the highest mountain in the country is the Kusi Mountain located in the Sahara Kusi Mountain, and the capital and the largest city is N'Djamena.

Chad has a total of more than 200 ethnic groups, French and Arabic are the official languages, and Islam is the religion with the most believers.

It is a country dominated by agriculture and animal husbandry, its economy is backward, and it is one of the world's least developed countries. After Deby comes into power, he accepts the econiomic structure adjustment plan from the International Monetary Fund (IMF), focuses on reorganizing state-owned enterprises and public-sector departments such as the cotton companies etc; encourages private investment and the development of small and medium enterprises; announces the implementation of corporate privatization and free economy; combats smuggling so as to ensure taxation; takes an active part in striving for international assistance and encourages foreign investment.
