Ukraine

Ukraine is located in the eastern part of Europe, and is the largest country except Russia in Europe. Ukraine is one of the 15 union republics of the former Soviet Union, second only to Russia. After the disintegration of the Soviet Union in 1991, Ukraine became independent.

Ukraine is connected to Russia in the east and the Black Sea in the south, and is adjacent to Belarus in the north as well as Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania and Moldova in the west. Ukraine's geographical position is important, and it is the geopolitical intersection between the European Union and the CIS, especially with Russia. Ukrainians belong to the East Slavs and have close blood relationship with the Russian and the Belarus people.

As one of the most important markets in the world, Ukraine is the third largest grain exporter in the world and has the reputation of "Europe Granary". Ukraine is an emerging free market economy and has more developed industry and agriculture, and its agricultural output value accounts for 20% of gross domestic product. Heavy industry occupies a dominant position in its industry.

Ukraine's military field still retains a large armed force system. Ukraine implements the political principle of separation of powers and as a sovereign, independent and democratic legal system country, it implements the republicanism. The President is the supreme head of the country.
