Luxembourg
Luxembourg, known as the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg in full, is located in northwestern Europe. It is surrounded by neighboring countries of France, Germany and Belgium, and it is a small landlocked country with its area equivalent to a county in China. It is now the only remaining Grand Duchy of the European continent, with its capital being Luxembourg. Due to its small territory and multiple castles, it is called as "Pocket Kingdom" and "Country of 1,000 Forts".
Because of its varied terrain, in the history it is located in artery between Germany and France, it has always been an important lilitary fortress in Western Europe, and is called the North Gibraltar.
Luxembourg is a highly-developed capitalist country, one of the founding members of the European Union and NATO, is also a highly-developed industrial country, the most important private banking center in euro zone, and the world's second-largest investment trust center, second only to USA. Financial, radio and television as well as steel are its three pillar industries, the country's unemployment rate is very low, and its average life expectancy reaches 80 years.
