Kuwait, known as the State of Kuwait in full, is an absolute monarchy country located in the northeast part of Arabian Peninsula and northwest part of Persian Gulf. It borders on Saudi Arabia in the south and Iraq in the north. The country's capital, Kuwait City, has the same name as the country.

Kuwait is rich in oil and gas resources. Kuwait's proven oil reserves reach 94 billion barrels, accounting for about 10% of the world's total reserves. The oil and gas industry serve as the pillar of the national economy, and its output value accounts for 45% of the GDP.

Kuwait's climate is not conducive to agriculture, and almost all of its agricultural products are imported. The country begins to develop a variety of economies to reduce its dependence on oil.
